I have come to learn that these self-righteous clowns have more than their share of skeletons in their closets.
Happyout and Wednesday had interesting comments. Jstlaw hit the nail on the head by saying, "I don't give a damn what you think." That has always been my philosphy and I personally tell people I don't care what they think because they don't put food on my table, PERIOD! Don't waste your time and energy trying to convert me to your way of thinking, I don't do it to others.
Like you, being personally abused as a child gave me a good basis for my present attitude. I put a stop to it when I was a teenager and I put a stop to it five/six years ago as a witness. I pity those who are stuck and must endure extreme abuses. It reminds me of my cat hunting rabbits especially when it corners the baby ones. These babies just freeze and play dead. So many witnesses are timid because they are told to be submissive. To voice your opinion is to speak against Jehovah, so they remain silent.

yes, i'm talking about those beloved ex-jws/df'd/da'd/apostates.. by that, i mean, if you were, let's say, disfellowshipped for scriptural/doctrinal issues, perhaps in the ex-jw world, you hold yourself or others of that ilk, in higher esteem?.
those that were disfellowshipped for smoking, heavy drinking or drug use, perhaps as previously not strong people.. those that were disfellowshipped for sexual misconduct: (file under: other) and similar to the above.. it's interesting.

since we haven't found wmd in iraq yet, a lot of the anti-war/anti-bush crowd is claiming that the bush administration lied about iraq's weapons of mass destruction.
the story being floated now is that saddam had no wmd (or almost none) and that the bush administration didn't tell the truth about the wmd threat.
well, if they're going to claim that the bush administration lied, then there sure are a lot of other people, including quite a few prominent democrats, who have told the same lies since the inspectors pulled out of iraq in 1998. here are just a few examples of what i'm talking about... .
Amazing, if saying, 'liberal goons done in humor,' that is some sense of humor. Parroting my views is not because of having left or right views, why, because both parties are controlled by the elite rich. Your question, who's to blame hasn't been answered. How does one identify a pedophile? If you can't identify a pedophile, unless you have a known history case of such an individual, you can't.
Let me illustrate. Englishman, you come off as being surprised and naive to learn about pedophiles and how they operate. Well, your innocence and being naive are good examples. My last expulsion was a beut. The Elder took it upon himself to speak on my behalf by saying that I was not repentant, after I had repentant! To me, this expulsion was a blessing in disguise as it was the light that I needed to see. Gonzo. The rest is history.
I have observed that people who are given some degree of authority become instant know it all's. These people are drunk with presumptuousness. Many golf teachers fit this description and they end up ruining people's golf swings and head. The witness program falls in the same basket.

Ah, my wife remembers it so well. As a teenager I would do any type of work for money even caddied. I save $5.00 from caddying, it was 90 cents around back in the mid Fifties.
